I was looking for a 11×14 option for paper and this seemed to be the best option. The only challenge that I had was figuring out what paper type matched up with my printer. Once out found that out I was good to go. My printer is an Epson P-900 and this is what I found… Slickrock Pearl uses Premium Photo Paper Semigloss Slickrock Silver uses Premium Photo Paper Glossy

I have tested this product in 8 1/2 11 sheets previously and loved it. I decided to bite the bullet and purchase the 24 x 100 ft roll as well as the 17 x 100 ft roll. For the proper images and especially for B&W images….it rocks!!! The pictures take on another dimension that you normally do not get with the other papers. The paper is high quality and the colors are brilliant. I highly recommend this paper for photographers who want to take their images to the next level. This paper is a homerun from Moab!!!I currently use the Canon ipf6450.

The results are some of the most luminous photographs I have ever printed. I am working towards an exhibition, in which I propose to display my digital image art work. This paper will make my work stand out! Thank you.

This paper is unreal and ads a luminance to prints that’s amazing. Cannot wait to start printing bigger. The prints are more delicate so beware of dust!

The sheen this metallic paper provides is perfect for my astroscape and nightscape photography; it separates the black space from the stars and nebulosity in a fantastic way.

I have to be the first to admit, this is not my go to paper for every day printing and use, however, I do enjoy printing photos on this stuff, when they’re right. Mostly HDR images, highly compressed where everything is kind of a mid-tone and lots of apparent light in the scene. It’s for that type of photo that this paper seems to emanate light from within – almost like looking into a monitor. If you’re looking for something a bit different, in a paper, this might be the thing that you’re looking for. It can be used to good effect.

The sheen of the paper has almost a metallic look to it. Make the Black and White prints stand out the most. Whe this order is used up I am most definitely will order it again.

I purchased the 13×19 and have printed it on an Epson 1900 with colored pigment ink. I have printed pictures of 4×6, 5×7 and 8×10 by carefully cutting some of the 13X19 sheets as well as printing at 13×19. I have observed the pictures having high contrast to be particularly good and the wildlife at waters edge, sunrise and sunset pictures over the ocean to be absolutely stunning. I purchased the Slickrock Metallic Pearl paper for a specific purpose and it has met all of my expectations.

I’ve had another brand of Metallic Pearl that worked out much better. Just not impressed with the depth of the image I received with the other brand.

Moab Slickrock is riddle wrapped in an enigma posing as a question. Do you want this effect? Or not? For the right image, it’s wonderful both color and monochrome. It is reminiscent of a pure metallic but not overwhelmingly so. It’s one of the products you have to try. If you have the right image, nothing else will touch it. If not blah! I like it a lot for the work I do. I recommend a trial package for your images. I think you’ll like it!

Let me start with my set up, MacPro running LR 5.6 with a Canon Pro-1. I do print with the paper profile from Moab using Relative Color Management. I typically print on MOAB and Iiford luster and wanted to try something new for my sister-in-laws baby shower we were hosting in our house. Wow, just wow. This stuff is impressive. It gave the portraits a nearly holographic look to them. It makes colors explode off the paper. One of the guests had hot pink colored hair and it was almost glowing. Skin tones were decent, but were a bit too smooth. This may just be from my normal luster print results and the smoothness of the paper is a bit foreign to me. So if you have a project that have vibrant colors or a scene with extreme contrast and you want to emphasize that contrast I would highly recommend this paper. if you’re looking for something to print traditional portraits this might not quite work for you.

Really nice paper, Has a pearl feel to it. Prints nice with the Epson 900 series with HDR inks. Rich colors, good black, good contrast. Does scratch easily !! Handle with care. Have sold some prints on this paper just after a few days of having them displayed. Pricey! but worth it.

This paper does have a lovely sheen and, I think, is best suited for images with a warmer/ yellowish character. I used it in a head-to-head print off with Canon Pro Platinum & Canon Semi-Gloss. The sane picture file (unaltered per sheet) was used for all prints-and the same printer settings (except different ICC for the Semi-Gloss). The photo was a landscape (lots of sun) with the sun behind me. The Canon Pro Platinum displayed the brightest image with the most natural color. The Canon Semi-Gloss and the Metallic Pearl 260 were fairly close for color, with the Semi-Gloss being just a little more natural in color-the Metallic Pearl has a distinctive yellow cast-that is very nice with warmer colors-but I find, not so natural. I thought the image detail was better with the Canon paper as well. I then tried two different photos -under the same conditions-and found the same results! The Metallic Pearl 260 is, also, very delicate-and must be handled with great care! I, also cannot see where the M.Pearl paper can be used without being dry mounted for display; very limp!? D.Leary

I wanted to write a review on this paper because I have been blown away by the results that this paper was able to produce on my Canon IPF6450. My monitors have been calibrated using XRite’s Color Munki Photo. I used the icc profile that I have downloaded from Moab’s website. I followed Moab website’s instructions exactly. I usually have some doubts about the manufacturer’s claims of promising the heavens and the moon….however, this paper does deliver all that Moab claims. I have tried printing a B&W landscape and a color landscape photo with this paper. The images really do POP. I have tried printing the same exact images using the same settings using my former landscape paper of choice, Canon Platinum Pro Paper for a side by side comparison. The Moab’s paper gives the images an extra dimension that we are always looking for in our landscape photos. I cannot imagine this paper being appropriate for all landscape photos, however, if used correctly, I think that this paper will give your images an extra edge. I am very happy with my results. I am going to be ordering the 24×100 roll next.

I’m really happy with the first print I made with this. It was a night sky shot with a tree and water in the forground. The stars shine and water gleams amaizingly! The profile was spot on and it just worked really well. The second print I made was of a snowy forest and it didn’t work as well. The white snow looked silver and it throws off the contrast between it and the trees. I’ll print a proof sheet before I go big with this one again but I can say that the good is great.
