The navy The ECO Messenger Bag from Mobile Edge is a contemporary-styled shoulder bag designed for the on-the-go person looking for a lightweight bag that will hold his 17.3″ (43.9 cm) laptop, documents, cell phone, pens and other small extras. This bag is made from an all cotton canvas material that meets the current trend towards environmentally friendly manufacturing.
The interior contains a separate compartment for your laptop as well as room for supporting paper documents. A large back pocket holds magazines, files and other collateral material. The bag contains several pen slots as well as another pocket for your cell phone.
For ID purposes, there is a removable ID holder that is relocatable on various anchor points on the bag. The bag is secured via dual plastic snap clips. The shoulder strap is adjustable, padded and contains a wide pad for additional travel comfort. The back of the Eco Messenger has a padded back panel that makes the bag easy on your side while walking.

There are few bags made to fit 17 laptops. This could use a little more padding around the laptop itself, but it’s attractive, roomy, reasonably well-made with good material and stitching, and nicely priced. If you, too, are a screen realestate hog like me, chances are you’ll love it!

Not the best bag I ever owned, but it is one of the few affordable bags that still holds a 17 laptop. I’m using it for the LG gram 17 which is very light. I haven’t tested it with a heavy load.
