The beginning was a little ruff bacause there were no drivers for the new Apple Big Sur OS, but the company got that corrected and the download was very easy. I do a lot of committee work and need multiple screens for work and virtual meetings. The set up using large desktop monitors was a mess. This set up is clean, PORTABLE even if I have to go to headquarters for a face to face meeting. My grown kids now work from home and they both want one. My library use to look like a war room but now this product makes the set up a piece of cake. The removal by magnets is brilliant because you can move the monitor behind your laptop to have it rest on the table so there is no stress on the laptop hinge. The monitor is bright and is easy to switch mirror image on and off. Many times, I have to hold excercises for other committee members and we all had to huddle around my screen. No longer because you can turn the monitor to face behind the laptop for all to see what your doing with the setting on mirror. Brilliant and it works.

I needed assistance setting this up so I sent an email to the customer service address in the instruction booklet. I had a lightning-fast response and I spoke at length with a friendly and competent representative in the USA who knew how to get the product set up to run with my Windows7 OS.

I just opened and installed the screen on my Lenovo ThinkPad. I had a few worries about how heavy the screen would be it’s way lighter than I expected. The only issue that I’ve been having is that it will randomly disconect from my computer for just a second which can be a little anyoing because if I am working on anything on the second screen, it will push it to my first screen. I checked to make sure the wire was connected right and it is. It might just have to be something that I deal with. Beside that issue, it is perfect. It’s easy to install, the screen is great quality. It’s exactly what I need for work and school.

I recently purchased a 17″ laptop and given I trade stocks, I needed a 2nd screen and this is a perfect addition to what I need to maximize my trading and news data feeds. Perfect size and very user friendly. I am heading out of town and the laptop with this 2nd screen fits perfectly in the laptop bag! You will be pleased with your purchase!

Don’t waste your money. Screen resolution is terrible, it’s very flimsy, drains battery. This product is a great idea but the company isn’t there yet.

Love it. This monitor works great with my laptop. Increases my productivity greatly. Only problem is I wish I would have purchased it sooner.

I have high hope and eager anticipation after I bought your MP Trio for my laptop and I consider myself an “early adopter” for any IT related products. The package arrived later than usual by Fedex and tax has to be paid (receiving it in Taiwan)The packaging of my MP Trio is a little simple and not quite have the “high end” feelThe MP Trio installation is super easy but the instruction as to how to line up the edges may need a little improvement. But after installation, the “needs” of edge alignment become obvious. My straight and most important comments would be as follow:the screen is way too heavy and need to be addressed in next generationthe hinges of the screen is unexpectedly weak and I am sure it won’t last more than a month if all the possible positions will be used by users interchangeablyIn fact, i flipped my screen to try on portrait standing to the flipped reverse displaying at the back of laptop screen, the hinges are already failing and tend to jam the screen edges apartthe weight of the screen wont allow a laptop stand to be used…..as the weight of the screen will till the laptop sideway.the weight of the screen will also slowly slide the screen down the back of my laptop since the four magnets just won’t hold it in place strong enough.the overall quality is just not to the required standard for it to last for a year or intended mobile use…..unless the Trio will be used and stay at one position.I cannot imagine how it will hold if an additional third screen will be added. I also supposed the Trio Max is even heavier.Screen pixel quality is good.Installation is a snap.Dont think the Trio is ready as a commercial product.

I recently purchased this for a quarterly offsite business meeting that spanned multiple days. I needed more screen space to keep up with my “day job” during the meeting. After lots of research, i decided on this product, mostly for the size of the monitor and how nicely it attaches to the laptop. Also being able to add a second to have three screens total was good for future expansion. When I whipped this out on day one, all my colleagues were impressed and very jealous! Several asked for links to buy their own. It helped me a TON during those days to be able to have enough space to juggle multiple things at the same time. Its super light, easy to install, easy to use, I really had no issues and nothing to complain about, i love this thing and just need an excuse to buy another one in the future :).

Been using this on two of my laptops for work and school and this is easily one of the most portable and versatile monitors I’ve ever used. Very satisfied and highly recommend anyone to this monitor. Ease of use during travel is what made me decide to put up a 5 star review.

I brought a Trio and it works fine on my non-M1 MacBook Pro. After installing he Usb display device driver, it works fine with my non-M1 MacBook Pro. But the same driver failed to work for M1.I returned it and brought a Sidetrak. Now I have a comparison between the two. Trio has better support for screen rotation (it rotates by itself). Also it has control panel built in the monitor. This is great for controlling brightness etc.The cons are,First, the magnetic plate is much bigger than Sidetrak. So it looks more intrusive on your laptop’s face.Second, the two tracks system in Sidetrack is better. This allows me to stick the magnetic plates in center of the laptop (in Trio, I have to stick them to one side). Also it makes it impossible for you to use your screen on both left and right side of the laptop.Third, the cable looks slicker and comes with a build in binder. I like this small but convenient feature.Fourth, the track on Sidetrack is metal. Feels more stable.

Love this external monitor. Makes it easy to use two screens when you don’t have a full home office setup. Great for travel too. Would definitely recommend.

Easy to install, great picture, and a great idea on how to get a second monitor for a laptop that does not take up a lot of run and can be transported with the laptop in its bag.. It slides into the holder attached to the back of the laptop monitor..

The Duex Pro monitor extender has been a life changing experience. As a Year 1 Med student, we are hit with a Geyser-flow of information. And adjusting to virtual learning adds to the overwhelm. With the Duex Pro, I can have my the platform lecture on one side and take notes and reference the textbook simultaneously. No more minimizing or struggle reading from small windows opening on top of each other. The best part is the easy installation and practical use. Just plug in and ready to go. All of this is rarely offered for a product with outstanding pixel display and at an affordable price. For a student like myself, this makes a world of difference. Highly recommend it.

This was a great monitor to use especially while working from home…however, i quickly learned that the magnets aren’t strong enough. Even though the description informs you that the dual monitor needs to be supported by a table tap, I am such a busy body constantly taking care of the family and dogs while working…hence constantly moving my work station with me. This monitor defenitley provides flexibilty but i hope that they are willing to upgrade to a screen that doesnt need to be supported by the table.

I am very happy with the additional two screens added to my computer. The 12.5″ MP Trio screens fit well with my 13″ laptop. I was concerned with the connection setup not having any USB-C ports but these work great via my built-in USB-A ports. The monitors don’t have a full swivel compared to another brand but do allow for a slight vertical adjustment. The kickstand is not standard either but I haven’t felt the need to purchase them separately. The monitors are stable as long as the base attached to the back of the laptop sits firmly on the desk/table. Overall great price and value for the increased productivity.
