I often work in the reclining position at home with a foldable laptop stand. This Duex monitor is exactly what I was looking for because it now can allow me to have dual monitors even in that position which I couldn’t add a second monitor on that laptop stand before. The magnets are surprisingly strong attaching the monitor to my PC lid very well. Screen quality is bright and sharp. Although when I carry my PC around, the lid & the attached Duex weight could swing the lid forward or backward unconveniently, I still grade this product a five-stars because that symptom is not due to the product itself but instead just a nature of the weight (unless someday humans can make a kind of monitor material that is as light as feather :-)). MobilePixels did warn users to suppose to only use the Duex in the stationary position, though. As of aesthetic of the product/packaging, it looks beautiful and has very neat packing. In summary, I like it. Of course, productivity is improved with dual monitor for sure.

I am returning immediately. I ordered 2 and I didnt even have all the parts. NO WIRES!! How do you send an incomplete product to someone, and I was displeased about the quality of the screens. In my opinion, not worth the steep price.

Great product. Super easy to set up and works great. Display could be a little brighter but overall, no complaints and works great2/11/2021 Update: After using for a few more days, this product is awful. Screen repeatedly goes black, and for some reason, it is a resource hog bringing my laptop or a standstill. I would NOT recommend this product at all. Who knows what malicious code was in their driver download to cause the system slowdown but I gotta figure out how to get rid of it. AWFUL.

Purchased two Trio screens for work and they work amazing, extremely happy with their preformance so far. The only downside is since I have my laptop on a stand the second screen sags/droops down since the clips provided are not strong enough to hold it leveled. At first one screen had issues with white LED’s but it self corrected. Sent Mobile Pixels a message regarding issue and never received a follow up from them. The box the screens came in was packaged extremely poorly, my 6 yr old could have done a better job. Overall, preformance has been great, quality has been great thus far.

Monitor would not rotate correctly. Mobile Pixels uses third-party APP, “DisplayLink”. DisplayLink bulletin reads, doesn’t support IOS currently. I don’t want upside-down monitors. Returning the Trio,

Looked around quite a bit before I made this purchase. Need to work from home from time to time. Using 2 monitors is key. I use windows.Received it and set it up. Despite using the USB C its not consistently connecting automatically. Have to disconnect and connect cable multiple times. It keeps saying please wait on a black screen.Easy to extend screen to other display using instructions, making it useful for my work. Chose this model because it was largest available (14in) but still wish it were larger.Magnets arent strong. Must use the plastic bar on top of laptop to hold screen up. Screen casing feels very fragile so need to be careful when putting it back in. Concerning for longevity. If can get it to connect successfully each time this product will be ideal for what I need. Suspect for others as well who are looking to use this in same manner.***If seller sees this please advise if theres some step right after connecting monitor to laptop that would support immediate display without my having to plug and unplug several times. Would update stars if this werent an issue right now.

dont bother the monitors are consttantly going black on and off. the magnets dont hold the monitors i had to find my own way of making them stick with velcro. at this moment im now in the process of claiming a refund. a great concept but that is all this is its not a working solution needs to be perfected.

I had two reasons to buy this monitor. My wife uses a second monitor a lot and uses her HP laptop at home and when out and about. I use my ThinkPad for working on side projects in the living room and when programming a second and third monitor can be super handy. Sadly I can’t use this on my ThinkPad as the magnets force the laptop to think the clamshell has been closed so the computer goes to sleep. On the other hand it works perfectly on my wife’s HP so she is the owner now. Even through she does NOT have USB-C we did not need to install any drivers. Plugged in worked, no hassles. She has used it a lot over the past week. Nice you can flip it around back and use it in mirrored mode or flip it to the front to use it as an extended display. The magnets are strong and keep it held in place. Everything is thin so easy enough to slide back into the frame or to take off and put in your laptop bag to use outside the house. No as cheap as a second monitor for this resolution but one of the few choices out there and it works great. She is getting a ton of use out f it so I consider it a solid purchase but I wish I could also use it on my laptop as it came with enough extra magnets to support multiple users.

I was not sure if this would be a practical attachment to a laptop, but I have been shown otherwise. It fits seamlessly with my current laptop and increased my productivity when completing academic coursework since I am able to keep a window open for reviewing a research article while composing a paper. This was very problematic with a single screen setup. Compared to a standard monitor, this product is pricey, but its mobility factor is what compelled me to get it since I take may laptop with me to different work spaces.

Very nice for people who travel to work with their laptop, all I have for a “desk” is a tv table and it’s perfect now. The magnets are thankfully reliable though I wouldn’t trust it dangling off the table as I’m sure it’ll slip off going down though it wouldn’t pop off without force. It’s plenty bright and was easy to install.

The monitor is high quality, but the framing is a little light (likely to keep it light) i fumbled with it aggressively one day and the frame broke. I contacted mobile pixels and the rep Evie made everything better. So good monitor and good support.

What a neat new toy! I am super pleased with this monitor and am happy I purchased. It was super simple, plug n play, to install and turn on. Packaging was great preventing any potential damage during transit. The unit is EVER SO SLIGHTLY heavier than I expected, but it doesn’t cause any inconvenience or discomfort to use. The magnets don’t seem as sturdy as I expected either, but so far, day 1, and its staying in place. Overall, a good buy for a remote worker who isn’t stationary all day.

My laptop is a 17″ screen so I bought the largest monitor I could with Mobile Pixels (14″)….I would highly recommend this company produce screens to fit larger laptops such as mine. It’s smaller than my 17″ and therefore can not be placed deadcenter of my laptop on the back as the directions show…MOBILE PIXELS, please make a screen large enough to accommodate a 17″ laptop. Thank you. Suzanne

My laptop has now adapted the way I work away from home allowed extended screen without lumping around a heavier display about .. compact. Light and it has adaptability to be mounted on left or right hand side of laptop…Fantastic ??

I had the screen hooked up to my 2012 MBP and it was good, but it really looks great on my new MBP 2019. I didn’t even need to download the DisplayLink software- it hooked up automatically on the Big Sur OS. I bought 2 and gave one to my son for his PC laptop. He is thrilled. Great job Mobile Pixels!

GREAT monitor! Meets all my needs while teaching high schoolers remotely so that I can multi-task to increase productivity. Dont know how I survived without it! Excellent choice and actually thinking about purchasing another so I can utilize 3 screens!

I was concerned that I could not work 2 screens along with my laptop screen. But, I love it. It makes my work flow so much easier. I am glad that I bought 2 trio screens! The screen is easy to see and the picture quality Excellent! You can adjust the brightness of the screens to your preference. It was a great investment! I recommend the trio screen for people who are working at home, students, or anyone who likes to multitask. It was very easy to install and can be removed if you wish. I keep my screens on my laptop because they easily close up.

My experience matched what happened to another user (in a video). When the Trio screen gets close to my laptop, everything seems to shut down. Both will work if the screen is on a stand, and separated. That wasn’t what I was looking for. I wanted something that saves desk space. If you’re looking for a portable and lightweight duplicate screen on a table, this would work.
