Purchased for sharing a presentation in “Presentation Mode” and the upper hinge stuck and started to lift the bezel from the display panel. Didn’t plan on attaching it to my ThinkPad so it can be used in its present orientation, but have put it in a protective case. This was a “re-conditioned” model so stuck with it. For the same price I could have purchased new just a panel. Seems like a good concept, but its awkward operational design should give one pause. YMMV

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Followed the instructions and fitted correctly. Magnets not strong enough and monitor slides off (as you can see in the video). Terrible piece of hardware. Steer clear

Screen resolution is a tad smaller than I was expecting but the quality overall is very nice. I was able to use a larger resulting to make it a little easier to see farther away. As far as creating a secondary screen for me to utilize the programs I use, this nails it! Definitely worth it to create a mini at-home workspace.

The Trio Max has helped improved my productivity. I had to change the cord that came with because it was faulty and kept disconnecting and reconnecting the screen. The magnets are not as strong as I’d like but it’s usually not a problem.Overall great product with very minor issues

Amazing! Was able to increase productivity. The brightness and screen quality are similar to any monitor. The brightness is adjustable. Was able to use it with my MacbookPro. You may need to download the DisplayLink Driver.

This was a great purchase! It was easy to set up and it fits great on my computer. There is a video link inside that shows step-by-step the installation process, which was a huge help. I am also impressed with the amount of extra magnets they sent– you can install them on multiple computers. The quality of the screen is great, and it’s exactly what I was looking for.

Concept is great but it’s not a plug in and go item. Must install driver. This was not an option for me for work. Had to return; now I know to read descriptions in detail.

Pretty happy with this monitor. I really wanted to be able to work with my laptop sitting in my lap, but this monitor is clearly not made for that. I don’t think they do a good enough job in their marketing explaining that. It is VERY clear in their setup instructions. My solution to that was a lap desk so the monitor has a hard surface to set on. The magnets aren’t strong enough (or designed) to hold the monitor on by themselves. As it turned out my ASUS laptop had just enough of a ledge behind the screen it allowed the pixels monitor a place to rest. So I don’t really need the lap desk, but I like the setup so much that I’m keeping it anyway. I hope the next iteration of this monitor includes a little better wire management. It would be nice if the design includes a small channel to tuck the wires into. In my case specifically I will never be able to add the third monitor–but that’s because of the design of my laptop. The ledge on the back is filled up by one so a second one would be too thick. Maybe someday they’ll come up with a design where the base fits over the existing screen.Messy cables aside, this is a great little monitor and a fantastic productivity booster. I have owned other portable monitors but the setup for this one makes it far more useful than the standalone monitors. I’m very happy with my purchase.

I ordered this system back when it was just being shipped to the U.S. I travel a lot and am used to using dual screens when I work on spreadsheets. The Trio system is perfect for working on complicated copy and paste operations while working from a laptop on the road or at home. I really appreciate their customer service. I have lost a video cable and bought a new laptop and needed more of the stick on metal disc. Both times the responded within 24 hours were very helpful I would highly recommend this product and company

Very happy thus far with the Trio Max I am only concerned with the tracks for sliding in and out the screens. Also two tabs to assist sliding them out would be a added thought.

Have had this since the pandemic started and it has certainly made the WFH experience much better. I have recommended it to friends and also had a great experience with customer support when I ran into a small issue.

I was looking to add another monitor that I was able to incorporate with my work from home set up and to travel easily with. The Trio Max Portable Monitor for Laptop, 14.1″ was exactly what I needed and has not disappointed. I have had it for two months and cannot complain at all. The set up was easy as well as connecting to my PC.

I like the product over all, however I find that sometimes I think the company should have made a magnetic bar instead of the round magnetic disc’s for the screen to attach to.

Evie helped me install the product over the phone and she was very helpful. She went above and beyond.

I brought it for my home office since the WFH is extended to next year. This monitor is very easy to set up and stands sturdy, the quality of picture and audio are both very good. I am definitely satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it.

The case is fine for a single monitor but 2 screens is a pain… The rear screen mounting option (for the second or (third) screen) is seriously flawed. To spend 600 on two screens you expect a better mounting hardware for the rear screen. The flimsy plastic allows the rear screen to tilt badly.

This is just personal taste but I prefer a standalone mobile screen to use a secondary monitor. Id only use this if deskspace was a real issue but you can always find a table with more room nowadays.I dont like you cant tilt it up or down, it only swivels left to right, and I dont like having something attached to my laptop, I have an LG Gram 17″ which is lightweight so I dont want anything attached to the back.. It interferes with my laptop screen adjustment.

I got two of the trio max monitors and have loved using them with both my MacBook Air and my Microsoft surface. I primarily use them on a desk so I dont attach them to my laptop.

This screen is great, it’s helped so much when it comes to working from home. The only thing is that it must be on a flat surface to use.
