I put this on my new mac air 13, it is great. I don’t have trouble typing at all. It doesn’t feel like there is too much material. At first, let the cover sit on the keyboard for about 24 hours… so it can glue itself down. Otherwise, sometimes your fingers can pull it up…

I’ve been looking for a high quality keyboard covers for my MacPro. I have been dismayed from negative reviews I’ve seen on many of them and just stumbled upon Moshi protectors recently. Of course it is going to be overpriced but well worth the coverage in my opinion. Very fitted and does not interfere with typing in any way. Honestly, I’ve found I’ve preferred typing with the protector on. I spilt water on my bluetooth keyboard and it ruined it. If I would have had a Moshi protector on I’m sure It would still be in working condition. I will be ordering more of these for my other macs in the future. Thanks Moshi!

This protective keyboard cover does the trick–it easily goes into place over the keys and does not slide around. I only wish it extended further to cover the area where your wrists sit as you type–however it does the job that it was meant to do.

I am still undecided as to how much I like this product. It definitely keeps the keyboard/keys clean. You just lay it over the keyboard, so no guessing with installation. It does have a tackier feel when typing, so that is why I am undecided. If you like to run your fingers over the keys as you are contemplating your next words of wisdom, you might not like the feel of this product.

I purchased two of these, one for a Macbook Pro and one for a Macbook Air. Both fit nicely and are virtually transparent when installed. You can feel a difference when the ClearGuard is installed, but it does not interfere with typing in any way. It successfully keeps pet hair, moisture and dust out from under the keys on the keyboards. I use mine every day, and it has held up pretty well under heavy use. There are some fingerprint smudges starting to appear, but a simple wipe down with a moist clothe should take care of this. Also, on the Macbook Pro, it does not interfere with the backlit keys, and that was one of the main reasons why I went with the more expensive fully transparent one instead of a $2.00 cover on other sites. Only negative thing is it has negligible weight, and won’t stay down if wind hits it. I would not attempt to use this product outside for that reason. It would likely blow away.

Looks like a great product – unfortunately the description failed to note that this does NOT fit the 2016 MacBook Pro keyboard. So I cant use it. Looking forward to an updated version. I tend to scratch off the letters on keyboards, so I hoped this would protect them. Can’t verify until I have a chance to test it out

I had read a few reviews about this product not being a good fit on some MBP’s but let me assure you it is a perfect fit on my 13.3 model A1278 MacBook Pro.There is no adhesive of any kind (who would put adhesive on such a beautiful machine anyway?) yet it remains securely on the board at all times.It also covers the recessed edge around the keyboard completely.There is of course a difference in the tactile feel of your keys as you type but after 2 weeks I no longer even notice it.This is a MUST HAVE for all late 2008 MBP’s in my opinion and think of the money you will save on airduster too.Protect your MBP today and it will thank you tomorrow.

It fits well on my keyboard, feels nice on the finger tips and actually mutes the typing sound pretty well. It doesn’t seem that it would protect liquid from filtering through the sides because it doesn’t stick to the surface at all. I’ve had other protectors that might do a better job at that. Also, the price is more than it really should cost.

I like that it’s thinner than other keyboard covers (like iSkin’s) and that I can see the light through the keyboard. You can still feel the plastic, of course. One complaint I have is that the protector does not fit the function keys. Also, sometimes when I type, the cover lifts up at bit. I would prefer if the cover would stick better on the keyboard.

Eventually gets a little stiff and grungy. Have found washing helps little. Can’t even tell it’s in use most of the time. Lasts a year or so. Cheap insurance.

I’ve used mine for almost 2 weeks and after a while, I totally forgot that it was on. It really delivers what it says it will. ALso, it IS really thin vs. the thickness of silicon.

This product is superior to the one sold in the *. This keyboard protector stays in place when the laptop is closed and hardly ever needs to be reapplied. The previous one from the * would constantly stick to the screen when you open the computer up. For the price this is the best bet. The only negative said of it in my opinion is it makes the keys feel very plasticky, being that its made from a hard plastic. Other than that, this is my personal recommendation for any MacBook user for keyboard protectors on the market today. All of the other Moshi accessories for Mac are extremely helpful as well and high quality products.
