   I wish the key holes were a little deeper–also it seems a LITTTTTLE small for the NEW White Unibody MacBook.

   I have used this protector on my late 2011 MBP for over 3 years and it has held up very well. I clean it with dish soap or Simple Green and a microfiber clothe every month or so because finger oils build up and then imprint to the screen. It is not the fault of the Moshi protector–its just that there is such a tight tolerance between the screen and keyboard with the notebook is closed. I can’t type as accurately with the protector on the MBP but I am not a speedy typist anyway and I am used to it. I do remove it on occasion if I am going to do a lot of typing with no danger of cookie crumbs around! This protector most definitely keeps stuff out of the keyboard and when I remove it, the keys still look brand new. I am ordering another for my MBP and put the old on my external keyboard. I gave it a 4 because of the finger oils getting on the screen

   Fits over the keyboard perfectly. I’ve had no trouble typing like I normally do. It’s also very easy to clean.

   I wish I had known about this product before I spilled water on my last computer. It fits the keyboard like a glove and protects it from any damage. Also,it doesn’t interfere with typing. No regrets other than not buying it sooner.

   I watched youtube reviews, read reviews. Can’t find anything negative about anything Moshi. This product is constantly lauded for it’s thinness and can’t tell it’s there. Ok, I could definitely tell it was there. 1. It has a loos fit. 2. It is thick enough to destroy the tactile feel of the mac keyboard. 3. It moves around when typing. 4. It slows my typing and increases errors noticeably, even after a couple of days of use. The Good: it does seem to offer good protection to the keyboard area and keys. And does fit down into the grooved area around the keyboard, and doesn’t fall out easily.

   I’m a physician, and I believe the soap we use has always rapidly warn off certain Powerbook and, lately, MacBook Pro keys so that they become unreadable. Plus, of course, gunk inevitably accumulates and, on a laptop, can fall directly onto the circuit boards below. So when I recently made my most recent upgrade, to a 15 Quad Core i7 MBP, I was determined to get the best protection available. MacWorld liked the Moshi and, after trying several others, I agree. It’s so thin and light I really don’t know when it’s on in terms of key feel or appearance (though I believe it does significantly soften key noise, which is nice), and there’s no problem leaving it on when I close the MBP. The only con: I do forget it’s on, and if I open it in any position where the keyboard isn’t level, the Moshi will become dislodged. This is a minor problem; it’s never slipped off while I’m using it, the fit is too snug for that, nor has it ever fallen off the keyboard completely.

   I use the product on day to day basis, it’s such a blessing for protecting my laptop from accidental liquid spills or other debris who might get stuck in the keyboard…

   This cover fits well, but tends to come off the keyboard when the Macbook Pro is closed and being transported. So, you have to realign it each time you take it anywhere. I’m happy with it’s transparency as it’s much more clear than competitors. Overall, it’s pretty good.

    Looks clear from above, not so clear from an angle. The fit on a 13 inch mbp retina is not very smug. When hot, sticks to the Moshi iVisor and stains it when the laptop is closed.

    This product is very easy to use and does a great job at protecting the keyboard. It is very thin so it doesn’t interfere with closing the lap top. The only minor issue is that it doesn’t fit extremely tight/snug over the keyboard. But this is quite insignificant compared to the pros of this product.
