This satin gold iGlaze Hard Case from Moshi includes two micro-clip, snap-on polycarbonate top and bottom covers for an Apple 13" MacBook Pro with Retina display. The covers’ scratch-resistant coating and impact resistance provide protection, while their slim, form-fitting design complements the profile of the 13" MacBook Pro.
While this iGlaze Hard Case is used, full access to the MacBook’s buttons, ports, and MagSafe connector is maintained. Raised rubber feet at each corner of the bottom cover provide surface grip while allowing the rest of that cover to efficiently dissipate heat. The ability to see the MacBook’s Apple logo through the top cover further preserves the general appearance of the 13" MacBook Pro Retina.

My laptop travels in a case logic backpack with a fully padded compartment just for the laptop. I never put anything else in that compartment. Case Logic Kilowatt Camera & Laptop Sling Backpack purchased here at B&H. The moshi iGlaze started to crack on the corners after a few days. Only the screen half of the case cracked the base is perfect. First it had tiny cracks, then small pieces of plastic started to fall off the corners. Now after 2 months it has many small cracks radiating from the corners and several huge ones. I treat my laptop with kid gloves, it only travels to and from the office and goes from bag to desk. My previous laptop had a Speck case for 3 years without so much as a scratch, that case is in fact still going strong after I gave the laptop to a friend, it is now over 4 years old. That said I have had issues with the new Speck cases. I suspect that when Apple made the macbook pro Retina about 1mm thinner in the newer model these companies did not retool and the top part of the case is a bit loose leading to cracking. Of course that is something I can not confirm. I have noticed all of the complaints are fairly recent

I absolutely love the color of this case (Champagne Pink) and it is very lightweight and unobtrusive on my Macbook Pro. I received the product within 3 days because B&H provides great free shipping options, wow! But, I was very sad to see that the case scratched within the first day of use. I guess my keys scraped the case while dropping into my bag. I’m glad the case protected my cover, but I would caution others to keep keys and other sharp items away from the case. Overall, happy with the case because it is a great color!

When you spend a small fortune on an iBook it doesn’t make sense to skimp on the purchase of a protective cover. Although probably one of the most expensive ones, the Moshi Hard Case is absolutely gorgeous and made with precision. Couldn’t be happier and it is certainly worth the money.

I’ve had this cover for about 9 months and it literally disintegrating at the corners. My understanding was this cover was to protect my MacBook Air, but I’m wondering if the cover will make it a year. I had literally 1 very minor drop which did put one crack in the cover, but now I have major cracks in 4 of the 8 corners of the top and bottom. There is even a chunk or two that have busted off.I thank VERY good care of this laptop and the whole thing travels in a well padded leather briefcase. I am VERY disappointed. I was expecting some protection.

Sure it fits like a glove BUT it also cracks. I have this less than 1 year and every single corner is cracked! I am very careful about all my electronics. Laptop was never bumped nor dropped. Cheap material. Don’t buy it. Not worth the price.

Another great Moshi product. Fits my iPad Pro like a glove. I do not know whether it is due to the color (black) or to the case materials, but it leaves fingerprints each time and place it is touched. It is a small annoyance, however, because they can be easily removed.

I use this product for my MacBook Pro 15 with Retina and this is my third attempt. Visually, this is a very nice product which does not bring additional thickness to the laptop. Unfortunately, this hard case is prone to cracks on the top shell: my first Moshi hard case for this laptop experienced the exact same situation. I went back to Moshi and my original case was exchanged for a new one. The replacement lasted a little bit longer but eventually went through the same scenario. Undisrupted, I bought a third hard case just about a month ago and I am already experiencing the same problem. Far from being the least expensive hard case (actually probably one of the most expensive of its type), I really do not understand why this company has not resolved this problem.

This case is a lovely shade of blue and is quite stylish! It fits my Macbook Pro like a glove. It snaps on so easily and is very thin and lightweight. My macbook still looks sleek with this cover. I am very pleased with this product
