   Overall, I like these. I have found the iGlaze to be about the best protective acrylic encapsulating case for the Mac. It is micro-thin and adds almost no thickness to the Mac. I have had a number of them for various machines. They do tend to split or crack on the edges if snagged etc, however, I would rather deal with this issue and have the Mac protected from a fall or impact. The current version is a matte finish which is improved from past generations. It looks as if it is not there. the fit is micro-perfect and is the best of it’s kind, in my opinion.

   Fits like a glove. Provides adequate protection and adds style. You still see the apple lit up…but no one knows its a mac until you turn it on!..which is good…because there are many thieves out there.

   I use this product for my MacBook Pro 15 with Retina and this is my third attempt. Visually, this is a very nice product which does not bring additional thickness to the laptop. Unfortunately, this hard case is prone to cracks on the top shell: my first Moshi hard case for this laptop experienced the exact same situation. I went back to Moshi and my original case was exchanged for a new one. The replacement lasted a little bit longer but eventually went through the same scenario. Undisrupted, I bought a third hard case just about a month ago and I am already experiencing the same problem. Far from being the least expensive hard case (actually probably one of the most expensive of its type), I really do not understand why this company has not resolved this problem.

   Home use, I don’t carry it around much. The case is very nice to look at, feels nice, fits very tightly. The left bottom corner has broken off, the bottom casing has cracked in the middle, the rubber feet have come off – appears the glue has soften as the laptop heats up.
