An AM4 socket and B550 chipset provide compatibility with various AMD Ryzen-brand processors. Four dual-channel DDR4 memory slots are available, as well as six SATA III ports and two M.2 slots for storage devices. One PCIe 4.0/3.0 x16, one PCIe 3.0 x16, and two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots are available for the installation of a graphics and utility cards. This motherboard is only compatible with Windows 10 (64-bit) operating systems.

So far this board has been working well for my Ryzen 5 3600x. The UI works fine enough. It was very easy to enable overclocking and my XMP profile. The board was able to select the correct memory profile to run at 3600 MHz. I receive the advertised speeds on my M.2 NVMe SSD. My problem comes with the install CD and the 2.5 Gbps LAN controller. Windows 10 doesn’t even have a basic driver so I can’t connect to the internet after first boot. So I attempted to use the install CD in a USB CD reader. Each time I tried to install the LAN driver, the PC would completely lock up and need to be reset. So I had to go on another computer to download the driver, put it on a flash drive, and then install it. Really annoying.

Initially, my Motherboard had a bent and broken capacitor. Now, months later, the plastic clip that holds in the GPU has broken. Not a bad Motherboard outside of those issues. At least it was cheap.
