The AMD B550 chipset sets the foundation of your build giving you get an AM4 CPU socket, four dual-channel DDR4 RAM slots, six SATA III ports, and two M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD slots all working together to give you enhanced system performance. Further expand the capabilities of the MAG B550 with one PCIe 4.0 x16, one PCIe 3.0 x16, and two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots allow the installation of graphics and utility cards.
You can utilize six USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A and Type-C ports for resource-demanding devices such as external storage or microphones. Another six USB 2.0 Type-A ports are available for low-resource devices such as keyboards and mice. Two Ethernet ports can work together for faster bandwidth speeds as well as provide teaming capabilities. This motherboard is compatible with Windows 10 (64-bit) operating system.

I built a machine to do video editing based around this motherboard, specifically because I wanted a fast ethernet built-in so I could hook it to our office media server.
