Couldn’t be happier. MSI manual is very good and everything is easily found and labeled on the motherboard. The quality speaks for itself.

works as described

Handles a very significant memory overclock and PBO curve changes on my 5800x with ease. The built in NVMe cooler is a nice touch for NVMe RAID0 configurations. Everything stays nice, cool and stable. The MSI RGB software leaves a lot to be desired, but that’s probably my only quip with this board.

Came Dead On Arrival, going to RMA

Have been looking for this mobo for quite some time now. My sons first build! Took a while, but B&H came through. Out of stock EVERYWHERE….. Put my order in and B&H did the rest. Hassle free, just sat back and waited. They emailed me weekly until BAM ‘your mobo is available’. Less than a week later, son is building his 1st PC. Thanks

I purchased this motherboard for my recent PC build and it was great. Everything was easy to install and it was great to take advantage of the PCI 4.0 speed as well as being able to use an NVMe internal SSD. The WiFi speed in this motherboard is also great and the Wifi 6 is part of the reason I decided to buy it. Overall, great product.

TL;DR – Nearly 3 months trying to build a system and all issues point back to this motherboard every time. DO NOT BUY MSI EVER!!! Since the beginning of July when I first ordered this motherboard, I have been trying to build my system. Within 3 days of the first startup, the motherboard RGB fails, followed shortly by the audio beginning sounding like a digital dub from some club. I contact MSI and arrange for an RMA. Two weeks later I receive the RMA replacement (yeah, I know, I should have tried to swap with B&H first, my fault) only to find that it has a faulty M.2_1 slot forcing a perpetual boot and I can’t make it past the BIOS, enter RMA #2. Two weeks after that I ship it, the second RMA replacement arrives at my home (this is motherboard #3). I assemble the system, power it up and immediately the EZ Debug LED stops on CPU. I call tech support and try to get some help only to have the tech helping me try telling me that my problem is the RAM because it is not on the QVL. They worked just fine with the first 2 motherboards, why should it be any different now? After some very heated back and forth, removing various components, and putting them back in different configurations, we come to an agreement and run a BIOS update via the “Flash BIOS Button”. After getting the same result as earlier and I concede that it could be a bad CPU (Ryzen 7 3700) and RMA it to AMD. I finally get my CPU back today (another 2 weeks), get it and the heatsink installed, along with all the wiring set up and I get the exact same result, the EZ Debug LED stops on CPU. Now I have to eat the cost of this motherboard because I am no longer willing to deal with MSI and I failed to contact B&H first to resolve the issue with the first motherboard. My fun pandemic PC project has become a nightmare with MSI at the center of it all. And to clarify, I have been building systems for 20+ years and have never had an issue so severe as this ever! I will NEVER recommend an MSI motherboard to anybody under any circumstances ever.
