Visualize your victory with the Optix MAG274QRF eSports 27″ 16:9 G-Sync 165 Hz HDR IPS Gaming Monitor from MSI, which will give you a competitive edge needed to take down your opponents. It is equipped with a 2560 x 1440 resolution, a 165 Hz refresh rate, a 1 ms (GtG) response time, and NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility for quick and blur-free images. Also featured are anti-flicker technology and low blue light output. Image clarity is further enhanced using HDR, which offers improvements to the contrast and shadow detail.
The Optix MAG274QRF was built with a 27″ Rapid In-Plane Switching (IPS) panel, a 16:9 aspect ratio, a 1000:1 static contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness rating, viewing angles of 178°, support for 1.07 billion colors (8-bit+FRC), and coverage for 97% of the DCI-P3 gamut and 131% of the SRGB color gamut. Connectivity options include one DisplayPort, two HDMI 2.0b ports, and a USB Type-C port that supports DP alt mode and up to 15W of power for compatible devices. Additional connectivity includes a USB 2.0 Type-B port, two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, and a 3.5mm headphone output. For better comfort, this display’s tilt may be adjusted from -5 to 20°, it may be swiveled from -75 to 75°, rotated from -90 to 90° and its height may be adjusted up to 3.9″. It may also be mounted using its 100 x 100mm VESA mount.
Please note that the 165 Hz refresh rate is only supported using HDMI 2.0b and USB Type-C. DisplayPort only supports refresh rates of up to 144 Hz.

Amazing monitor from the get go, didn’t require much color calibration. Leaps and bounds beyond my 1080p 60hz. Pro’s – High HZ – Amazing color – IPS – Very little backlight bleed -1440p G-Sync Cons – HDR needs work (but gaming panels of this cost, its just a bonus tbh)

I could not be happier with this monitor! For the price, 165hz 1440p specs are fantastic! Its plug and play right out of the box, with a pretty nice OSD control for settings. If I had a small wish, it would be to have the ability to control the RGB from that without the need for the mystic light app. For full disclosure I did get a defective item, that was blacking out for 5-10 seconds every so often. B&H was awesome and sent me a new one no hassle. It happens, some duds come out if the factory, but do not let that deter you from this monitor. MSI makes great stuff and I’m thoroughly satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend it.
