As a photographer, monitor colors are fundamental for me, therefor I searched for at least decent amount of colors or in other words something above NTSC 45%. My favorite brand is Lenovo, but I just could not find a proper Lenovo laptop with normal amount of colors. From my search in B&H and they rock with it because far not every online store provides and allows to filter by color gamut. So I got to this by search for normal price, CPU gen and monitor colors. I be honest to say I never had MSI in my focus, but I decided to give it a try. So what did I get? light weight, close to full normal colors, lit keyboard, fingerprint, memory expansion options, USB-C charging. basically a really well featured laptop with a sane price. I’d even say I can recommend it. One minus I can state here. This is a 15.6 inch laptop, MSI could put a num-pad. But for some reason they spared it. I agree it vacated room for the usual keyboard and it is spacious, but yet. Another issue with the keyboard, keys like HOME require Fn button combination. So if you are picky about the keyboard just as I am about monitor colors, check that the keyboard is good for you. Otherwise, take it and enjoy the colors 🙂
