Garage Door Decor is manufactured to fit roll-up (sectional) paneled garage doors, as well as canopy (flat) garage doors. We’ve developed a system that makes installation quick and easy. This system requires no tape or screws, which could potentially damage your garage door. Instead, our hardware consists of a hook attachment that goes over the top of the garage door and a tension hook at the bottom. The top hook attachment protects your mural from theft by keeping it securely held behind the frame of the garage door. The tension hook keeps the mural taut when the garage door is closed and protects it from wind damage by flexing with the mural. Each garage door banner is ready to hang with minimal assembly. 2-people installing a single mural should take about 10-minutes. Every banner, whether it’s for your front door or garage door, comes with assembly hardware so it can be installed right out of the box.

Very nice decoration and installed quickly, but 2 problems:1. The bottom brackets need to be redesigned if you have a rubber weather seal on the bottom of your door. I was unable to close my door with the bottom brackets on unless I was willing to adjust the internal horizontal bars that keep the door locked. No thanks. Plus, there would have been air gaps around the bottom of the brackets for insects or mice to crawl through; again, no thanks.2. The instructions say if you want to be able to use the exterior door handle, you must cut a slit in the banner near the handle. I did. When I opened the door, it turned out the slit wasn’t long enough and ripped a ragged 2 inches of banner just below the door handle.

We bought 2 door decor pieces. The one above & a “Oh Holy Night” (double car garage) decor. They are easy to hang, colors are lovely. Problem was they are much to short for new homes. We had to utilize bungee cords on the bottom holes of the banners to attach to the bottom of the garage door.,. We still kept them but they were very expensive to have to find a way to make them work,
