The base is not very substantial. I haven’t decorated it so hope it balances well. I am very disappointed that the top foot if it is just a single limb that you can’t hang anything on. I’m going to bend it double and reinforce it so I can use a very light tree topper instead of my normal one. Otherwise, I like it. Storage wise, it doesn’t take a lot of space which is a plus.
