This Downswept Douglas Pencil Slim tree features Feel Real® branch tip technology, creating a tree with remarkable realism. These crush-resistant branch tips are molded from real tree branches for an authentic living tree appearance. This tree is pre-strung with 500 Dual Color lights that change from warm white to multicolor with the touch of a button. The bulbs are low voltage LEDs that are energy-efficient and long lasting. Included is a foot pedal switch to control 10 different light colors and actions. This slim profile allows for display in corners or limited space areas. Hinged branch construction makes assembly quick and easy.

This is a good artificial tree for a small- to medium-sized room. It comes in 3 pieces with a sturdy stand, all easy to put together.There are connectors in the 3 pieces to hook up the tree’s lighting. This is nice in that you only have to plug it in from the base, but it can be bit tricky to properly connect them the first time. The connectors are not easy to find and you need to make sure you’re connecting the right pieces to each other. There are color-coded stickers attached to the connectors to tell you which one to connect to which. After figuring this out the first time, it should be more straightforward to put this up and get the lights going next time. And the lighting itself looks great. You can choose all white, colors (green and red), or a mix. You can also set them to twinkle or keep on.As this is the first year we have it, we’ll have to see how it holds up in subsequent Christmases as we put it away a few times and won’t be able to fold it up as well as the manufacturer. For this year, the tree is up, lit, and decorated with ornaments. It’s beautiful and a fairly good substitute for a real tree.

Not as full as pictured. Easy to assemble. Base is pretty narrow. Tips over easily if you have pets. Pretty branches, has natural and feel. Works well for narrow spaces or if you have limited space for a tree. I prefer fuller trees but we had to downsize this year so this one works well.

This tree is exactly what we were looking for. The tips are rubber while the interior portions are a softer material and not shiny! You do need to spend some time fluffing the branches. The light options are amazing too. We also bought the National Tree Co. Topper which matches the lighting in the tree. Highly recommend both

When I ordered this tree, I thought there were two lighting options, clear and colored. It turns out that there are 10 options at the push of the button! The lights twinkle, fade, and stay solid in varying shades from clear to color! The tree is also full yet slim. I love that it doesn’t take up half of my living room. It was also very easy to set up.

This tree was everything I wanted – real feel tips, LED lights, pencil (skinny to fit our small space), good height, seemed full enough (no gaps), and I was pleasantly surprised by the 9 different light options! I knew it had both clear and colored lights, but didn’t realize it also had pastel, and settings for steady, twinkle, and even fading into the other color options. Super happy with this tree! Only way it could be better is if 100% of the branches were real-feel.

For us there is nothing like a real tree, but this year we decided to look at artificial trees and the National Tree Company 9 ft. Downswept Douglas Pencil Slim Fir is a great alternative for many reasons. The diameter (3ft) and height (9ft) is ideal for our space. The “real feel” tips provide a great full look for the tree. You do have to spend some time carefully “grooming” the branches for a good fill in (there are videos on how to best do this) The pre-installed LED lights are great (the warm white bulbs look just like the old incandescent type). Plus with the foot switch you can select two other color schemes; traditional multi-color and a softer pastel tone, plus various blinking or fading options. Our favorite has been the warm white with the alternate fading feature.
