I didn’t realize the entire outside construction was actually clear plastic. I thought by the pictures that it had a gold look. However, we love how the color options of the star match the functions of the tree. Looks nice lit. The attachment was strapping it behind the top of the tree post with a couple zip ties which seemed easier to get it straight as well as sturdy.

Its the only tree topper that works with certain styles of Nat’l Tree Company artificial trees (the light changing ones). There are 2 things we were not crazy about: 1 its attached with those plastic one-time use ties, unless you can store your tree upright somewhere and 2 I’m probably goung to buy some faux evergreen picks to stick around its white base where it meets the tree top. It does work with the lights just fine.

This star was purchased to top my new national tree co. Chistmas tree. (Not included with pre-lit tree) very easy to attach . Very happy also great price. Would recomend to anyone purchasing a pre-lit NTC tree. Easy plug in and no time or effort to add to my tree.

I returned this topper because it only fits a certain type of outlet that’s incorporated in only certain trees. Also, the packaging was destroyed and without that certain type of plug there was no way to test it out.

I think this tree top only works with a The National Tree Company-Dual color tree. The added adaptor was what I needed to connect to my tree. The tree top is excellent!! I’m so glad I found it!! Love it!! My guests were impressed that the top matched the colors on the tree, including when blinking, fading or steady glow. It’s about time with all the newest technology, that the lights on the trees and the tops glow in unison. Did I say I love it!!

Beautiful star, but did not fit the top of our expensive 8 ft artificial tree, had to use the adapter that they include and just lay it in tree. It connected to the LED adapter on the tree though.
