Wanted to give it 4 1/2 stars. Fairly easy to use. Pain to clean out the tip of the cone. It would be nice if they’d add a tool to help clean the inside of the cone instead of fighting it. Just mix up your lean ground beef or turkey with the spice mix and the sodium packet put the material in the gun and squeeze out.

The product is excellent, but the shipping to the local HD store was terrible! The boxes were crushed, almost beyond recognition. Poor packaging and handling. It was for a gift, which did not happen! The Jerry gun survived.

The first time I used it, it worked fine. The next time I used it the front part keep popping off. That got pretty annoying after a while. It’s tricky to clean and takes some time. I’m going to look at other jerky guns. My other problem is that the seasoning mix and cure don’t have a list of ingredients. I have a friend who’s allergic to soy and I had no way of knowing if soy is an ingredient.
