Cord oversized for actual skillet size. Takes a lot of countertop.

Small but efficient. Even heat. Does what I bought it to do.

The descriptiion clearly states “1800Watts” which I felt was a bit much for this size electric skillet. When I opened the box and took out the skillet, the information on the bottom of the skillet clearly said “800 Watts”. Does Nesco even make an 1800 Watt 8 inch electric skillet?

This is the greatest “little fry pan.” It cleans up very easily, non-stick , and the perfect size for that grilled cheese or one egg!One note though, it cycles the heat on and off, not constant. I like this feature though.

After having used this skillet for a couple of weeks, this was an excellent investment for me. Ordering through HD with pick up at my local store, was most satisfactory.

I thought it’d be a deeper skillet, unfortunately, it wasn’t big enough for what we are looking for. If you’re looking for a shallow skillet this is perfect, otherwise try another skillet.

We’ve had a small frying pan like this for years and it finally wore out. The Nesco 8 frying pan is exactly what we were looking for. We have limited storage space and this one perfectly fits our needs. It quickly heats up with an overall even heat.

This is just the right size for a me living in a tiny house and I don’t have a lot of extra room for skillets and other items. Easily fries 2 eggs.

I really like my new little skillet! It is the perfect size for one or two people. I recommend it if you need a small skillet. I’ve used it several times already and it works great!

Is pretty shallow, not as deep as some of the other small skillets I’ve seen. It doesn’t maintain a steady temperature, it gets real hot and then too cool pretty fast.

love it just what I expected

A lot of other reviewers noted that its heat was inconsistent or even lukewarm. I found this to be due to the heat-carrying probe working itself out, perhaps by swelling a bit when it heats up. The pan won’t heat if the probe isn’t in good contact within the socket, so if one would just keep a little lateral pressure on it, toward the socket, it’ll stay in place and work just fine. I was ready to return mine, until I figured this out. I’m also thinking that maybe fastening an extra-long wire tie, between handle and control module (from which emerges the heat-carrying probe), could be a hands-free way to keep the probe fully plugged in. Once that was solved, I love my little skillet.

The reason it did not get a better rating is because it is not submersible.

The fry pan was very easy to assemble.

Great for morning eggs, I cut bacon in three pieces, it is very small, good for a two-egg omelette try to avoid spilling on the handle area. I don’t have a dishwasher,, but with plug removed I don’t see why it is not dishwasher safe with common sense … but elec and water ..? I keep it in my backroom bar. along with Microwave, toaster oven, steamer/rice cooker small fridge, and a magic bullet so small size helps in my situation
