Bought as a Christmas Gift for our son. So it’s not been used yet. But we opened and examined it. It appears to be of excellent quality, well built and looks it will be much easier to clean than an older slicer we own. And the price was about the same as slicers that appeared to be flimsy.

There was no assembly required with this food slicer. That’s always a good thing. You do have to clean it before using it cause it arrives with an oil all over it. The first thing I tried to slice some some bacon I had cured and smoked. Was disappointed that I couldn’t slice long strips with this unit. I had to cut the slab in half. There is not a long adjustment. It sliced evenly though. I have also sliced some beef for making Beef Pho. I was able to slice nice thin pieces of meat. It is very easy to clean so it’s not an appliance that you hate to use because it’s such a pain to clean. It’s sturdy and seems well made.

When cutting the meat the slide table flexs to much and you wind up with uneven slices of meat. Other than that it’s a good machine.

First of all, this a substantial sized food slicer and will take up some serious counter or shelf space. That aside, the slicer here works like a dream. Have used to cut both deli meats and cheeses with no issue. Adjustment for thickness is easy with no degradation of cutting quality. Slicer is easy to disassemble and cleaning is a breeze. Only complaint and a minor one is this should have come with a cover as it is something that will probably sit and not used for extend lengths of time.

It does the job . The back rest is flimsy so it takes 2 hands to operate -1 to operate the slide and 1 to support the back rest so the slices stay evenly sized .

The slicer is fine, but it needs some modification. The motor power is too weak for the type of blade, soI’m going have it ground to a razor sharp fine blade that should do it. There is also, apart from the noise (which is fine, whatever), the smell of the motor running, which seems problematic.

The 180-Watt Food Slicer in Stainless Steel was put through a hard test after cutting 200lbs of BOLOGNA for a fried bologna feast, I still had 100lbs of FROZEN bologna to cut. I thought that this food slicer would not be able to handle the job, but I was very WRONG, this food slicer was making 1/4inch slices like it was just taken out of the box with a brand new blade. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a food slicer for light to medium duty use.

Motor turns too slow. Lots of meat wasted because the meat gets caught between the floor plate and the blade. Though it is for occasional use, I will buy a better quality slicer and donate this one.
