Nesco’s New Electric Water Kettle boils faster than a microwave and uses about half the energy of a stovetop. 1500-Watt quickly heats water for instant coffee and soups, tea or hot cocoa, rice or pasta, blanching vegetables, instant oatmeal or gelatin. The concealed heating element is contained in the stainless steel base with built-in cord storage. Kettle detaches from the base for ease in serving. The water filter is removable and washable for convenience. Additional features include: water level indicator, illuminated power indicator, boil-dry protection, stay cool handle and drip-free pouring spout. Works great so far. I love the auto shut off and the glass sides let me know when to refill before it’s too late. Even full, it boils faster than the microwave or the stovetop.

It’s s good kettle. I hope that’s good have made the lip easier to open. Mine broke in the five days 🙁 water boil quickly. The main part is the lip the tip in the center that knob broke easily. So be careful.
