The C6300-100NAS Dual Band Wireless-AC1750 Wi-Fi Cable Modem Router from NETGEAR eliminates the need for a separate cable modem and router. This single device contains an integrated CableLabs certified DOCSIS 3.0 modem along with a 4-port Gigabit Ethernet 802.11ac Wi-Fi router. By combining the cable modem with the router you no longer need to purchase a separate router or rent a cable modem from the cable company.
With dual band Wi-Fi connectivity the C6300 from NETGEAR operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies effectively eliminating most of the interference experienced with traditional 2.4 GHz wireless routers. In addition to dual band functionality, this router features 802.11ac connectivity for a total bandwidth of up to 1750 Mbps. You can also connect Ethernet enabled devices to any of the four Gigabit Ethernet ports for a reliable wired connection. In addition to the four Gigabit Ethernet ports, you will find a single USB 2.0 port on the back of the router allowing you to connect devices such as external hard drives making your files accessible throughout your network.

The R6400v2 is absolutely perfect for apartments or small family homes which have multiple devices, or even multiple simultaneously streaming devices. Most ideal bang for your buck if you’re looking to upgrade your existing router or if you’re looking to improve your networking experience by moving away from having to use your ISP provided modem/router as your dedicated gateway. (Which if you’re still doing that, then I highly recommend buying yourself a stand alone router regardless. Like this one!)

This product improved my network traffic flow speed nearly 3 times what I was getting with old router. It was easy to set up and includes a trial copy of network monitoring that helps to protect you from those scamming sites (I paid to keep it running since the kids like to explore over the internet and this software stopped more than once some scam attempt). I liked this product so much that I bought one for my father and he hat similar improvements to his network speeds. I highly recommend this product. The only issue I had is when an update came out, the network started acting flaky because the update did not apply automatically. Once I finalized the update everything was working great again.
