Got the router 11/29.. had to call Netgear to set it up after being on the phone with my service provider for an hr.. Took another 1hr.. finally got sorted.. Then today 11/30 .. stopped working.. then started working and very slow even though my service provider offers 1G.. i am only receiving under 400.. called Netgear again.. on the phone another hour.. to be told I need to call my service provider again to update firmware.. my service provider stated they do not update Netgear routers only their own .. I called back Netgear to be told the same thing..but that they will try.. Nighthawk App does not work either.. because Firmware needs to be updated.. could not upload the error message on the APP because i got an error message that states I do not have permission to upload or my case is closed when clearly it states it is OPEN.. Netgear agent then said they will email and escalate the issue and i should wait 24 hours to hear back and if I do not .. I should call back.. Now this is the 3rd Netgear item that I have bought within the past 4 months with slow speed issue.. 2 of which i bought within the past week.. I work from home … I need immediate assistance to FIX the issue! highly inconveniencing

Received the device in a timely fashion, however, had trouble programming it, and had to call Netgear support for assistance. They solved the problem, but then had to call cable provider to get ot working properly. Everything is presently working great, so no complaints
