Eliminate monthly cable modem rental fees with the AC1900 Nighthawk Dual-Band Cable Modem Router from Netgear. This device combines a modem and a router to provide you with both wired and wireless Internet connectivity for your home or office. Setup is simple as it’s equipped with one coaxial port and four Gigabit Ethernet ports for your wired devices. Wireless 802.11b/g/n/ac devices will also be able to connect to this device on the 2.4 or 5 GHz band. Once configured, you’ll be able to achieve speeds of 600 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz connection and 1300 Mbps on the 5 GHz band. These enhanced data rates ensure you can stream HD content, download large files quickly, play online games, and much more. The Nighthawk also provides a wide range of security features, including a customized URL to set up a personal FTP server, separate guest network access, Wi-Fi protected access, double firewall protection, and denial-of-service attack prevention.

Purchasing the Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 Wi-Fi cable modem router was the best decision I’ve made. It was easy to install and I am able to stream all my shows. The real bonus is now I am not paying my internet provider a Monthly rental fee. I don’t know why I waited so long. I did have to call support with a couple questions and the tech was very helpful and even called me back a couple days later to see if everything was going ok.

Replaced an older Netgear router with this one and it was SO much easier to install and clearly allows for faster streaming, etc. Absolutely NO complaints. Reasonable price. The web app helps a lot, even though there could be more instruction for the individual larger ISPs. I highly recommend this modem router especially if you are “cutting the cable”.

It can only pump out speed around 200 mbps even though my plan with internet provider like xfinity is 800Mbps, also this is older version of doscis 3.0, I would recommend to go with Latest versions like 3.1 doscis in my case

I bought this unit to replace the horrible device that my ISP had for lease. This was the first time I’ve purchased a modem router rather than leasing one. It’s been almost a year that I’ve had it in use and this unit has been solid, stable, and has never failed me once. I don’t live in a large place, so I don’t need something that provides vast wifi coverage, but all rooms in my 800 square foot apartment gets strong wifi coverage from it. I have a mix of devices that are wired and wireless and all connect perfectly each time with no speed issues caused by the device. I do believe that I made the right choice when I bought this Netgear unit and I would recommend to anyone looking to buy their own modem router rather than use what a cable ISP provides.

The Nighthawk fits the bill! The Wi-Fi signal is strong and reaches all the rooms in my home without any lag. I like the option of being able to select between 5G and standard speeds. Being able to restrict Wi-Fi signal to specific devices is a great feature too! Great device!

Love this product. There is an app that you have to upload and this shows you all of the electronic items that is connected to your wifi, it is so cool very efficient
