Having an integrated modem may also save you money over the long term by helping you to avoid device rental fees. The system also includes one satellite to create a unified network, supporting up to 40 devices and covering up to 5000 square feet while delivering 4400 Mb/s transfer speeds over the 2.4 GHz and dual 5 GHz frequencies for smooth 4K video streaming and online gaming experiences as you move from room-to-room. Wired devices such as computers, smart TVs, and video game consoles can be connected to the Gigabit Ethernet ports located on the router or satellite. You can quickly set up, manage, and monitor the mesh system using the Orbi app, and your wireless network is protected by both WPA3 encryption and an optional Netgear Armor subscription.

Tried several expensive Wi-Fi 6 set ups – I have Wow, the first modem wouldn’t even connect (actually tried on two modems of the same type thinking the first was defective). The second one would drop signal constantly. Once I set this up and updated the modem, it worked like a charm and now have every inch of my home covered.

I upgraded my out of date cable and separate router for my home office to the Netgear Orbi and am very pleased. The upgrade was excellent and very easy, the app makes the install process quick and I did have to call my ISP to register the new cable modem router combo but after that I was right back online. I give this 5 stars because the internet and wifi connection are great with very good range, no more slow internet or getting booted from websites and install was easy using the app by following the steps.
