The system also includes one satellite to create a unified network, supporting up to 40 devices and covering up to 5000 square feet while delivering 4400 Mb/s transfer speeds over the 2.4 GHz and dual 5 GHz frequencies for smooth 4K video streaming and online gaming experiences as you move from room-to-room. Wired devices such as computers, smart TVs, and video game consoles can be connected to the Gigabit Ethernet ports located on the router or satellite. You can quickly set up, manage, and monitor the mesh system using the Orbi app, and your wireless network is protected by both WPA3 encryption and an optional Netgear Armor subscription.

Just replaced my tp link M5 with this setup. Not only did my coverage improve from upstairs to downstairs, but am finally getting the speeds I am paying for with my ISP. Before installing this, I was getting internet in the room that the old router was and not in the other rooms. We yelled at our internet provider a couple a times until one of them recommended we upgrade our router. Orbi mesh was within our budget. We liked the reviews we read. My wife can now watch her dateline shows in bed once again. (I hope shes not preparing for something!) Our kids can stream their shows easily. So far we have about 10 devices connected and we havent experienced any lag at all. It also works while we are in the yard. I highly recommend this.

My previous router/modem was also a Netgear product. However, it kept randomly rebooting itself at the most in opportune times. The Orbi combo has been a consistently reliable source for connectivity across multiple devices. The speed is fantastic and the security makes it a solid device for a protected environment. Great system offering super wife around the house. Takes a long time to reboot, and in the first week we had it installed it would stop working once a day each day and needed a reboot, but then it stopped doing that suddenly.

Modem and router works fine, it extends the range in my house by 4 or 5 feet. The speed in the basement is better than before. Installation took 3 hours, calls to cable company and to Netgear. The feature of using the old network name and password works great.
