Having an integrated modem may also save you money over the long term by helping you to avoid device rental fees. The system also includes one satellite to create a unified network, supporting up to 40 devices and covering up to 5000 square feet while delivering 4400 Mb/s transfer speeds over the 2.4 GHz and dual 5 GHz frequencies for smooth 4K video streaming and online gaming experiences as you move from room-to-room. Wired devices such as computers, smart TVs, and video game consoles can be connected to the Gigabit Ethernet ports located on the router or satellite. You can quickly set up, manage, and monitor the mesh system using the Orbi app, and your wireless network is protected by both WPA3 encryption and an optional Netgear Armor subscription.

I bought the product to replace my cable box from Xfinity. After 5mins of unboxing and plugging in the modem it connected. I have never seen an easier product for both wired and WiFi connect and find all my devices. The app is a breeze. If you have ever tried to replace your network device and have family waiting on you to finish so everyone can get back to watching TV or playing games it can be some pressure to get it going. Well Orbi was the fastest and most efficient network and satellite devices I have ever setup. I would highly recommend the product as the coolest looking and easiest to setup.

Finally don’t have to have a separate cable modem! Very easy to setup, and fast coverage now through house. Armor product gives notice when new devices attach, and security is good. I only wish they integrated Parental Controls.

Should have done this sooner. I always overestimate how long my modem and router last. Tech really changes in a few years, and this was overdue. Replaced my 5 year old nighthawk that I loved and this does not disappoint. Really easy to setup and love having the 2-in-1 combo to save desk space and eliminate a few cords.

Removed Comcast/xfinity equipment and replaced it with the CBR750. Not only are the speeds higher than the service we are subscribed to but there hasn’t been any drop in performance! Easy to install and love the clean lines. Finally a good looking piece of tech equipment. The app is great – easy to use and control permissions. We also purchased Armor and are very happy with its active blocks so far.

So far works great. Very user friendly and excellent wifi range. I am a tech guy with lots of IoT, servers, and computers. Two story house And had no issue with wifi coverage. In fact I can go way down the street before I start to loose my wifi. Only problem is the price. It is a little expensive but I am hoping that this will be something I won’t have to upgrade for a while.

Netgear sent me this unit to replace my Nighthawk that died. It was easy to launch and seems to work just fine, but Orbi does not support installation of ExpressVPN which is a disappointment, hence four stars instead of five.

And for the most part they delivered. The Orbi is a great choice for a whole home solution but a few things to keep in mind. If setting up smart home devices, some play nicer then others. Setting up most of my Nest items went flawless except the Yale lock. Also, it would be nice if in the app you had more control over the streams. Allow me to create a 2.4ghz network just for my Smart Home devices. Overall I have had no issues with the internet or wifi speeds. I pay for 1GB speed and almost anywhere in my 2 floor house I average 675-750MB on wifi. Great investment and it will be able to handle higher speed as cable companies increase their offerings.
