The system also includes one satellite to create a unified network, supporting up to 40 devices and covering up to 5000 square feet while delivering 4400 Mb/s transfer speeds over the 2.4 GHz and dual 5 GHz frequencies for smooth 4K video streaming and online gaming experiences as you move from room-to-room. Wired devices such as computers, smart TVs, and video game consoles can be connected to the Gigabit Ethernet ports located on the router or satellite. You can quickly set up, manage, and monitor the mesh system using the Orbi app, and your wireless network is protected by both WPA3 encryption and an optional Netgear Armor subscription.

For years we have had internet issues in our house, basically little to no internet upstairs. Then recently we changed our modem and router and it got really bad downstairs too, so I started to research ways to solve our issues and decided to try Orbi’s router and modem plus satellite and boy I wish we had done this sooner. Our internet is so fast in all areas of the house, we no longer get dropped from meetings or feel like we are on dial up!! Lol The system set up so easy, probably took less then ten mins. If your having issues buy the Orbi system you won’t be sorry.

i bought the orbi because of the convenience of having modem and router into one, but it blew my mind with all the other features and alerts from the companion app. then to make it even better i signed up to the netgear armor.

I’ve tried two different Orbi WiFi 6 with built-in DOCSIS 3.1 routers and both of them had the same problem. While devices stay connected to WiFi (and it’s fast), the modem constantly loses it’s lock on the connection. I worked with both Netgear and Comcast support but neither of them could resolve the issue and both pointed the finger at the other. I wasted many hours on what should be a simple setup. My stand alone DOCSIS 3 modem has no issues whatsoever.

This router with built in modem is really great. I like that 2 devices are built in to one and the wifi is really fast. Seamless coverage going from inside to outside. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was the set up. It took me 4 hours in total. After issues setting up and calling my internet provider then having to call Netgear who ultimately took me through many more steps not included in the instructions before it finally worked. Good customer service but the set up was an investment of time and test of my patience.

Fantastic product with fantastic range. Can pause and scrub through 4k Netflix video with no buffering or lag. Little expensive but the speed and lack of buffering make up for it.
