Having an integrated modem may also save you money over the long term by helping you to avoid device rental fees. The system also includes one satellite to create a unified network, supporting up to 40 devices and covering up to 5000 square feet while delivering 4400 Mb/s transfer speeds over the 2.4 GHz and dual 5 GHz frequencies for smooth 4K video streaming and online gaming experiences as you move from room-to-room. Wired devices such as computers, smart TVs, and video game consoles can be connected to the Gigabit Ethernet ports located on the router or satellite. You can quickly set up, manage, and monitor the mesh system using the Orbi app, and your wireless network is protected by both WPA3 encryption and an optional Netgear Armor subscription.

It took multiple attempts to set up and activate with Cox, which was somewhat frustrating. However, once everything was ready, the coverage and speed has been outstanding (1 router and 2 satellites). Pretty impressed with performance for a three level house.

I have tried numerous routers over the years spending more and more each time trying to cover a 1900 sq ft home and nothing came close to the Orbi. We now have a strong signal across the lot, all the cameras work, there hasn’t been a random drop out or slow down or area where the WiFi is weak. 10/10

Upgraded from a slower modem to the Orbi with a built in modem. The setup through xfinity took awhile (no fault of Orbi but due to xfinity. Once set up the speed and range is double my old setup. The single extender is set up on the opposite end of the house. My signal strength when connected to the extreme isn’t as strong as the main until but that may be due to that way I have it positioned. Will have to test a couple different placement options and see if that makes a difference. But overall very pleased with the results so far

onable setup, difficult to connect coax cable due to the connection being inset into the case. Have strong fingers and/or a lot of patience. Once I worked with Xfinity to finish setup, I was very happy with my new modem/router.
