Works great. Had to call Netgear for help to setup. They were horrible at first. Kept me on hold for 15 minutes and never got back to me. Called again and was helped immediately. Wish it had a phone jack.

The experience of installing the CM1000v2 has been outstanding. I recently updated my service to 400 Mbps. My old modem was five years old but rated to support this connection speed. However, I was only able to get roughly half of the expected speed. Once replaced, the Netgear nearly doubled my connection speed. I decided to also replace my router with an Orbi RBR850 given its age and in order to expand my network to other rooms in my house. Together, my network now consistently receives 480 Mbps download speeds (note that my service is 400). Should I decide to get a higher tier of service, I have full confidence that the Netgear would deliver the full 1Gbps. I highly recommend especially given that the modem pays for itself after one year of no equipment charges from your cable internet provider.

Plenty speed. Needs to be power cycled more often than not and that genie app is a total joke. Only thing it’s good for is seeing who’s on. So Stupid.

I am using this modem with Xfinity. Every couple of days it stops working and requires power cycling. Because I am sometimes travelling and I cannot be physically by the modem to power cycle it I had to invest in a device that when the modem stops working it power cycles it so I am back in business within 3-4 minutes. This should not be needed in a stable and reliable product.
