This unit has performed well, but drops or slows the internet connection on occasion. My provider came out and found that the cable had a fault and they replaced it. I do weekly Zoom meetings and I am still getting a message telling me my internet connection is unstable. While this may not be the modem, it is the only unit I have replaced in the last year.

Got the new Netgear Ultra-high speed CM1000 cable modem took about 5 minutes to get all connected with Cox cable and had amazing speeds of uploads and downloads. My download speeds were well over 500MB sec and uploads over 150 MB. An excellent value for the money, and I like I can go in and change the default password, unlike some many other cable modems.

So far the modem is working great. 5 stars for that. The instructions for installing it with Xfinity were incorrect. I had a hard time installing it. I needed to download the Xfinity app. Then it installed smoothly. Please update your instructions!

After about one month, all the LEDs started flashing and would not reset. No amount of trouble shooting the CM1000v2 could I get my WiFi back and running. Ended up reinstalling older Neatgeat CM500.
