Bought this to save a little on my Internet cost and upgrade my speed. If you have Cable check and see what, or if your being charged a monthly rental fee for your Modem. You could pay for your own Modem in less than a year by not paying for a rental. Love Internet but not the prices, great product…Peace.

I replaced my Cox Panoramic Wifi Gateway router with the CM1000v2 and the difference is night and day. I was normally getting about 120MB even though I was paying for Gigablast. Once I put the CM1000v2 and the Orbi mesh network in place, the average speed is 900MB. I highly recommend this modem. Easy to set up and install. Well done, Netgear!

I have always loved NEYGEAR products and I have many of them. I had a problem with this one. I went round and round with NETGEAR and my internet provider to find out what the problem was and finally determined that the actual ethernet port/plug was the problem. I upgraded to the NETGEAR CM2000 and everything is working but it was challenge to find out what the actual problem was.

I received the modem and contacted the cable provider to register my new equipment. After a few questions about the new modem and connecting it I was up and running. This replaced a DOCSIS 3.0 32×8 unit that was beginning to have latency problems. Immediately I noticed better streaming picture quality and improved connectivity on my AX-11000 wi-fi and increased performance on my wired pc. I know there are more expensive modems but can’t imagine any better performance than this unit. I highly recommend this product.
