The install and setup were super fast and easy following the included directions. We have Xfinity and had to use their app to reconfigure the settings. I’m using the modem with wide open west for the 500 Mbit plan. It is very cool to touch when operating and I found the GUI easy to navigate. Although not a criticism, I would like an end user option to update the firmware and not depend on the ISP to make any changes.

This was a great cable modem for 2 years. Began having issues with dropped internet and discovered it was the Ethernet port on the cable modem. Tried several different cables but had the same issue with all. The port somehow went bad. Disappointing as Netgear doesn’t provide a 2 year warranty like some of their competitors (Motorola) do.
