I replaced an older Surfboard 6141 with this Netgear CM1000 32×8 modem. I was not getting the internet speed I was entitled to with my ISP provider of 250Mbs. I was having frequent loss of connection issues during Zoom calls with multiple participants with my old modem and now the connection issues have stopped. The setup and connection of the new modem with my ISP was easy and the signal and speed is solid. I am using a older Netgear AC1750 router and I am getting over 275 Mbs speed now on a consistent basis. Very satisfied so far.

Purchased this modem to increase downloading speed. Associate at the store indicated that it works with all routers. That may be the case. However, it could only get 65Mbps with my router. This may not be an issue with the modem. But it was very disappointing. Need to check your modem before purchasing this one. Returned this modem and purchased a CM7000v2 combo modem/router. This did the trick. Now getting 300Mbps.

Can’t beat the speed with this modem. Very happy with it overall and the wifi range is great. Did have a small problem, but Netgear took care of it and had a replacement in two days. Happy customer!!!
