Quick setup and great performance . I think Netgear is producing nice products and I would buy it again for its convenience of setup and nice looking package. I think Netgear needs to switch to what other companies are doing which is not to install default password . generate a random word and use that temporarily when you sell this device . I understand security this habit needs to change . CHANGE your login when you buy this device.

I replaced an older Surfboard 6141 with this Netgear CM1000 32×8 modem. I was not getting the internet speed I was entitled to with my ISP provider of 250Mbs. I was having frequent loss of connection issues during Zoom calls with multiple participants with my old modem and now the connection issues have stopped. The setup and connection of the new modem with my ISP was easy and the signal and speed is solid. I am using a older Netgear AC1750 router and I am getting over 275 Mbs speed now on a consistent basis. Very satisfied so far.

I have owned every kinda Modem known to man over 20 years of having cable internet. This Netgear CM1000V2 is an absolute dream. I have not had to do one hard reset to get my advertised speed once since I purchased it. I was having to reboot my Spectrum supplied modem every AM to get a decent signal. Paired this with the wonderful XR1000 Gaming Router… best monies I have spent in a decade. Keep up the great work Netgear – your hard work is paying off!
