This was an upgrade from the Xfinity supplied gateway…I first upgraded the router (ORBI mesh) and saw a big increase in number of devices. But when I upgraded the Modem I finally got 150Gbps+ speeds (that I was supposed “buying” from Xfinity)

This cable modem is so easy to set up. Used to be you had to have a computer connected directly to the cable modem. I was able to log into Xfinity with my iPhone. And fast – I’m seeing speeds as fast, sometimes faster than expected from my service. Highly recommended.

Speed remains clamped from ISP based on MAC. But, response is snappy. Speed is 79MB down and 3MB up 24/7. Not bad for living on island in South Pacific!

It worked great for a week and then Suddenlink discovered that it was a DocSis 3.1 (which they do not support) and cut our download speed to 1 Mb/sec. We have a tech coming and I hope we can fix the issue, but as of now, I am back to my Docsis 3.0 modem. I have no problems with the modem, just the ISP.

I recently bought the NetGear Cm1000v2 modem and a nighthawk NetGear router. The Modem design and looks was an attractive feature. The most important buy in for me was the fact that it is a high speed, duo network modem that any gamer will love. The user setting GUI is very simple to navigate that any user can easily make changes without technical knowledge. Lastly, the company’s customer support is world class. I was having issues with my network speed hence I was referring to NetGear by my ISP. The customer service was very professional and ready to ensure the issue get resolved. After the call, the agent called several time during to make sure everything was working great afterwards.
