This device is extravagant!!! You don’t have to think twice to purchase it.

With 25 people in my home streaming, gaming, Roku-ing I needed to bite the bullet and increase my WiFi speed. I tried other modems however, they were complicated to set up and kept dropping my high speed Wi-Fi to the point instead of in the gigabits zone I was in the low mbps. With my DOCSIS 3.1 Netgear CM1000 I’m zooming even with all ten of my grandchildren online! Awesome job Netgear!

Very fast, easy to install, future proof and matches up well with my NetGear router.

Great speed and a breeze to set up. What more is there to say worth saving for renting a sub par model from your isp.

I bought my own modem and router to get rid of the monthly fee from my internet service provider. Setup was easy and I’m getting better speeds than with provided equipment. Very happy I made the change.

I love this modem. It made my speed a lot faster than my previous modem from Aris.

Love it! Works great, and the cable company can’t throttle my speed

Bought the CM1000v2 to go with or Xfinity gig-down and 35 Mbps up. The modem never worked correctly from the beginning, tech support was unable to help closer inspection indicated that the unit may have been damage and then returned by someone else. The store did not have another in stock so I had to buy another brand. The Netgear router I bought at the same time is working just fine!

Works well with XFINITY allowing me to save on $$ and have total control over everything I want to do on my network. Easy to set up and very subtle looking wich perfectly blend with whatever type of room you want to put it in.

As with any modem you are subject to the speed you are paying for with your ISP. I’m currently paying for 200 mbps down. I consistently get 230+! I’ve had the CM1000 for 3 months now and I’ve had no issues with it. It was very easy to set up and my Orbi router works perfectly with it. I highly recommend this modem.

This little modem is powerful. Up to 1GB speed and compatible with Comcast so you can save money not renting from them

Much better DL speeds than Iv ever had… 250 Mps +

I recently upgraded my internet plan to 150mbps on Comcast and after some research I decided to purchase the CM1000 which was also a recommendation of the provider as my original equipment had a cap of 333mbps. I tried both and my average speed DOUBLED. It was a nice surprise and totally justified the investment. I download games way faster, all 4K content works flawlessly and my connectivity to work is more stable. Highly recommend this modem.

The CM1000 was purchased to increase internet data throughput and replace the Spectrum standard issue modem with a graphics intense ping of 25-28 ms. After reading about the CM1000 speed, I believed ping would be reduced. Unfortunately the ping went up to a 35-40 ms increase. Very disappointed

I purchased the CM1000 to replace a rental modem I received from Comcast. I have traditionally used Arris SurfBoard modems, but they do not have a DOCSIS3.1 modem that supports my XFINITY Gig service. The product works as it should, and speeds are comparable to the rental unit. PROS * There is a small power button on the back * The system uses the same admin GUI that their routers (e.g. R7000, R8000, etc) use, though there are very few things to see within the interface. * The modem seems to boot much faster than the Arris SB6190, and all lights are green faster than the Technicolor modem I was renting. That said, the time required to get an actual working connection to the outside takes about the same length of time. CONS * The modem is physically larger than the Arris (almost 2X the size of the SB6141/6183/6190 modems) * It has a base that does not detach * The lack of color-changing LEDs means there is less information available from the device itself. My modem showed solid green lights, but my Router showed no internet connection. There is also no change in icon blink pattern/display that would show that the system is still booting or the connection is not fully active.
