This modem will blast your internet off into speeds that u can’t get enough of. I 2GB speed through Xfinity and it will go well over that with a direct connection but when with the router still well over recommended to anyone ten times over another quality product by netgear !!!

I replaced an older Surfboard 6141 with this Netgear CM1000 32×8 modem. I was not getting the internet speed I was entitled to with my ISP provider of 250Mbs. I was having frequent loss of connection issues during Zoom calls with multiple participants with my old modem and now the connection issues have stopped. The setup and connection of the new modem with my ISP was easy and the signal and speed is solid. I am using a older Netgear AC1750 router and I am getting over 275 Mbs speed now on a consistent basis. Very satisfied so far.

Set-up easy. Seems to work fine except for having to reboot every few days. Just have to call Cox to fix error code: “Ethernet doesn’t have a valid IP configuration”

I have this modem connected to a Nighthawk router and my speed is so fast that I finally feel like Im getting what I pay for. All of my TVs stream video, and my network can be demanding at times and this modem steps up to the demand. I never had issues like some have claimed. I recycle my own system every Sunday morning before the entire house is up and everyone is on a device or TV. But thats been my practice for years because every system should be rebooted from time to time. The added incentive is that Im not charged every month to rent the modem from the cable company. If you need an upgrade that will last you the next two to three years. This is it.

Purchased because my old 3.0 cable modem was cutting out ocasionally. WOW cable recognized modem automatically so I did not have to call them during setup. Had to reboot modem, Netgear Wi-Fi modem and computer several times to get everything synced up but was realtively simple and product operates very well.

Modem worked really well for 2 years. Started running into issues around the 2 year mark when our bandwidth dropped significantly. I was told by our ISP that all the channels weren’t working properly. It worked great but I wish it lasted longer. I went another direction and went with a Motorola modem this time around. I added a UPS system to hopefully make power more consistent.
