Iv had this modem for years and it has worked great. 10/14/2021 Found out on there website that it is no longer supported by Xfinity. So if your looking for something for Xfinity pick something else.

Cable modem works OK after a week of installment, but it has no built in Wi-Fi so you would have to get a Wi-Fi router if you are getting this modem.

After about one month, all the LEDs started flashing and would not reset. No amount of trouble shooting the CM1000v2 could I get my WiFi back and running. Ended up reinstalling older Neatgeat CM500.

The modem works great the only two issues I would have with the modem would be that it only has one Ethernet port and second that it is sometimes difficult to connect to Xfinity internet provider.

I traded the Arris 3.1 for this modem and the Arris May have been better, but I’m not tripping. I really actually want the Motorola 3.1, but the Netgear is very interactive and it’s taught me a lot with the week we’ve spent together. The truth is, I’m not even sure if broadband is truthfully capable of transmitting my 1gig internet, but I will continue to remain loyal with Spectrum to the very end. Thank you.

If you want a modem that meets all the latest standards and can handle any of your future needs this is a good choice with it hitting all the requirements for Gigabit Cable Modem (32×8) with DOCSIS 3.1. No latency with this modem that I had with my previous DOCSIS 3.0 modem.
