Every since I in the CM1000 and the Orbi Rk50 my internet issues have come to an screeching holt! I’m very pleased by these products and I recommend that if you have cable internet these items are a must have!! I wish I had 5 hands so I could give them 5 thumbs up!

This modem is GREAT!! I had one, brief issue with Spectrum. they claimed the modem was not supported, despite their site indicating it was. I pressed and they finally got me connected. Speed is awesome. Sites that would take forever to load are now loading in an instant. My specs: Spectrum cable, 200 MBPS service.

I bought this back in 2018 and it still works. That is what a great product should be. A long lasting quality product. It has a solid connection 90% of the time. It occasionally gets really hot when using it over longer periods of use when streaming. That has its worries but it still works and no issues. It connects to the provider with 1 call to activate and it connects to my TPlink router very well. It’s good to know I can make my own router choice for my needs and it not be bound only to the net gear brand.

For those wading through the confusing online morass that surrounds customer-owned modems for Altice USA (aka Optimum Online or Suddenlink) BEWARE as it seems that Altice is thwarting full functionality of this modem. I hope they get investigated and fined for that, but in the meantime those of us who are stuck with them need to find other options than this modem.

The modem does its job well. Reaches advertised speeds. Had an issue with T3/T4 flaps, but it turned out to be on the ISP side.

this is a reliable Modem that works perfectly with Orbi Mesh Wifi6 system. The Comcast modem we previously had usually dropped the signal and internet connectivity was intermittent. With this mode, that issue does not exist anymore.

I have had this Modem since January 2020, As soon as I had it provisioned had gigabit speed’s immediately and I have had no problems whatsoever with the modem itself, I have near continuous speeds usually ranging between 650 Mb to 950Mb per second. Only minor gripes, Wish it had an option for wall mounting, or the option to lay it down flat, for rack mounting. Other than that, a solid modem, for those wanting to not have an all in one device, great choice

The CM1000 is relatively easy to set up, and offers fast internet speeds for an apartment of 4 people, each with several devices. The range may leave something to be desired, however, and one may need to buy a Wi-Fi Extender.
