Works good on xfinity and Comcast cable as advertised, no problems so far.

My new Netgear Gigabit Cable mpdem DOCSIS 3.1, the CM1000, to be exact was paired with my R7000 Netgear two band router The AC1900 Nighthawk and everything was up & running in no time. Plug it in and the cable system signals came in loud and strong. You just have to like when things work the first time, the way they are supposed to.
Drew Christiansen (verified owner) –
Super easy to set up and worked perfectly with Comcast Xfinity for the 1.2 GB service we ordered.

Worked as described. Entire house is covered and working with great strength.
Odell Dicki (verified owner) –
Excellent, just what I wanted… a modem without router to handle connection to my Xfinity service. I connected it to my new Deco M5 “Mesh” network without any issues at all.

Great router…some challenges with brick walls but who among us doesn’t?!? Great upload/download speeds. Fabulous customer service. Might upgrade to a NightHawk but am a NETGEAR fan!

We are really enjoying our modem, it has all the functionality we need and has helped us save money on renting such a product from the cable company. The unit was easy to install.

Worth the system can get internet everywhere in the house.
Angelo Zieme (verified owner) –
Had this for a month and cannot recommend it. Maybe it’s Xfinity but the service never tests out at 200 Mbps usually on 25-50.
Shanon Schmeler (verified owner) –
Whole house coverage and, as I discovered yesterday, even reaches the garage across the yard. The modem itself is fast with no hiccups.
Lia Anderson (verified owner) –
I love it and yet have had no problems Good and fast

I recently picked up both a Netgear modem and router in order to make the switch from satelite services to streaming. I purchase products that could afford me the opportunity of receiving up to 1gb of service. Great products and easy to set up.
Howard Ryan (verified owner) –
Bought it to support broader/faster coverage for working from home. So far I have just that. I also have the modem and together it works very well.

I was having buffering problems when streaming TV using Cox internet. I had 150 MBS service, but too many devices connected. I upgraded to the 3.1 modem and increased internet speed to 1,000 MBS. No more buffering since the change. 🙂

The cable modem works well and meets our families needs; working from home, remote learning, entertainment and gaming without issues.

The CM1000v2 was vey easy to set up and get working. It works well with my Netgear mesh routers.

I have optimum and in my area there is no CAT wiring or fiber wiring, so my internet is set up through COAX which in networking is the slowest wiring of the 3. So I’ve had many many problems with Optimum’s stock router/modem and Wi-Fi extenders. Being that my wife and I work from home it’s imperative that we have stable connection which we weren’t getting. Once i changed to a mesh Wi-Fi system with Netgear’s standalone modem and added some mesh Wi-Fi routers, i am getting great speeds and haven’t really had any problem since. Would definitely recommend this modem!

I no longer even look at other brands for my home network. I work in IT, so I know what I want and Netgear delivers, once again. Paired with my Orbi and my network is blazing fast and reliable

An excellent product with a good support system where you can talk or text with a knowledgeable representative.

Modem was very easy to set up and is very fast. However there was a connectivity issue where it would just keep cycling through the reboot process. Cable company said it was the modem but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t. I just left it unplugged for a few hours and it’s worked fine ever since.
