I have Xfinity 1 Gig speed, but have had nothing but problems with this modem. I have it matched up with the new Nighthawk AX12 Tri- Band router and the new Nighthawk AX 8 Extender, yet my speeds drop constantly. Like this morning when I 1st signed on at 06:19 am, my speed was 697.8 Mbps (not even close to 1 gig, but okay). By 08:18 am, my speed slowed down to 24.4 Mbps. I restarted the modem, and the speed is now 696.4 Mbps. This goes on all day long. When i first had problems with this modem, Netgear told my to take it back to Best Buy and I did exchange it. The second modem worked okay for a while, but started doing the same thing. I called and emailed Netgear several times, and all they would tell is, it’s Xfinity’s problem. After having Xfinity out many times and them being limited as to what they can do, I was told by them, there isn’t anything wrong at their end. I guess I better go back to the cable modem and pay them for their box again. What a waste of time and money.
