Connect to XFINITY cable internet and boost your wired data transfer speeds with the Nighthawk CM1150V Multi-Gig Cable Modem for XFINITY Voice from Netgear. Compatible with the DOCSIS 3.1 standard and made for XFINITY Voice customers, the Nighthawk CM1150V is capable of download speeds up to 10 Gb/s and upload speeds up to 1 Gb/s.
The CM1150V comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports. You can aggregate two of those LAN ports to double your maximum wired speeds if you have a compatible router. The modem also comes with two RJ11 telephone ports and supports calling features such as three-way conference calling, caller ID, and call forwarding.

My previous Xfinity modem was a DOCSIS 3.0 Telephone modem, but wanted to own my own compatible modem and have the latest DOCSIS 3.1 capability for the increased speed, plus better call clarity. This CM1150V not only gave me that, but provided expanded phone services, prioritization, and link aggregation capabilities, and all in a stylish, easy to install, simple set-up package. Feel I can now take on any new upcoming network services my provider can send my way. Technically, I just “future proofed” myself with a great product!

This replaced my ISP leased Gateway. Worked for two months. Started losing sync. Internet speed swinging from lighting speed to absolute crawl or not at all. Netgear support is abysmal. You get 3 months phone support and then you need to pay!? WOW! Support never responded to my ticket opened through their web portal. Spend 2 yours diagnosing with support, after trying 2-3 times on phone and being on hold for 60+ minutes. Now, waiting for replacement to arrive. At least, they decided to sent a replacement. Maybe it is a one off, but support – it is the worst ever. And this i snot a cheap product.

I was misled regarding the number of available ports. This created problems that I did not anticipate. I am required to purchase a switcher and it will not work with Phillips Hue hub. I regret the purchase.

Netgear modem/router extended signal range to Ring 2 Video Doorbell from back of the building line office through the front building line of 2500 sq. ft. residence. Netgear modem/router replaced xFi Advanced Gateway (XB6) CGM4140COM. xFi modem/router signal failed to reach Ring 2 Video Doorbell and delivered 358 Mbps upload and 22 Mbps upload performance on 02/16/2020. No complaints so far about the Netgear modem/router. Netgear modem/router is delivering better performance and has eliminated a TP-Link range extender used to deliver a signal from the xFi modem/router to the Ring 2 Video Doorbell.
