This cable model exceeded expectations with speeds of just 1.4 gigabytes per second download speed. My prior cable modem couldn’t manage even a fraction of that speed. Highly recommended if you have a cable service that provides this level of speed.

I wrote a review previously based on the inoperability of my last CM2000. After being a “squeaky wheel” for several days, Netgear reached out to remedy the problem by sending me a new CM2000. Unlike the last, this one has become inoperable. Further, the modem has complemented the Netgear Orbi well and produces significantly better speeds than we were getting with the Spectrum Modem-Router Combo. Speeds are insanely fast, but they are pretty good. As well, the device’s footprint is minimal.

Product worked great for 6 months. It then failed completely and would not perform a reset. All lights on the front flash quickly. After 1 hour with tech support a replacement will be shipped after I return mine at my expense.
