I had some issues with my Netgear Nighthawk 2.5 Gbps Cable modem activation which turned out mainly to be a Comcast issue. However I first contacted Netgear and the tech very meticulously walked me through the faultfinding and we were able to activate the Modem. I had to follow up service with Comcast to get their side of the issue resolved.

After going cable-less, we upgraded everything just to handle the extra load. The modem worked great for a little over a year, then just last week all the lights started flashing. After researching, these were the lights of death. No hard reset, no power onoff, nothing would reset the modem. I still run the NightHawk router, but replaced modem with another brand.

After receiving my modem and hooked up, it kept crashing. Called customer support and they were very helpful with finding the problem. The tech determined that it could possibly be the coax cable from the wall and even requested to be called back when ISP tech came to fix it. Once fixed, this product has been blazing fast and notice a difference in speeds while connected to wifi. I would definitely recommend this product and their tech support.
