I’ve had it for about a week already and I’m pretty satisfied with it so far. My internet provider is Altice/Optimum; gave them a ring and provided the modems MAC address and had them put it on my account with zero issues. It literally took like 5 mins to do.

This modem lives up to the Netgear reputation. Before anyone chooses to slam this device for subpar performance, do your due diligence to ensure your cable ISP provider did not install splitter devices in line that would cause your gigablast signal to noise (SNR) down channels numbers to be way below optimal. I have Cox ISP service, kicked their overpriced cable service to the curb. This device is certainly on the COX approved list and their firmware management of the device is on point. DL speeds of 130-ish mbps before removal of splitter and now consistently hitting 940-955 mbps.
