With download speeds of up to 1.4 Gbps, the CM700 High Speed DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem from Netgear is an ideal modem for streaming HD multimedia content, online gaming, and more. This CableLabs Certified DOCSIS 3.0 Netgear modem comes compatible with a wide range of cable providers and has been tested to work with both Charter and Time Warner Cable services. Installation is simple as this device comes equipped with a single coaxial cable and one Gigabit Ethernet port. Once installed, users benefit from 32 downstream and 8 upstream channels supporting the 1.4 Gbps download speed while 8MB of NOR flash memory and 128MB of RAM ensure the modem operates smoothly. Note that the maximum download speed depends on the customer’s ISP.

Very nice product, I upgraded from CM400 (love it), since I was upgrading the router I went ALL IN and got a nighthawk as well, LOVE NET GEAR!!! tripled my speed and very simple set up. LOve teh interface as the genie gives me an option to go in thru IP portal or use the app.

Awesome modem. Finally took the plunge & got rid of Comcast modem/router. I know have the speeds I’m paying for. Unit is smaller than Comcast’s. This will work with Xfinity. Make sure you call them so they can send the signal to your new modem. Process was quick and easy. Pair it with a Netgear router and truly enjoy high speed internet. Worth the money

100% performance outcome just an early issue with an ethernet port breaking. Modem replaced so I expect this wraps up that issue and performance continues far beyond any internet providers option.

I have had multiple modems over the year and not one of them provide the service they claim. EXCEPT for the netgear modem. This model has improved my connection to the internet. I no longer have buffering issues. It’s as is I have a perfect connection. Simply Amazing !

works great, I feel it works better then the units that are supplied from the cable company, I also bought the net-gear AC-4000 Tri-Band Router, makes a great pair. The speed is incredible, no lagging or buffering at all. Set up was a piece of cake. I did make a YOU-TUBE un-boxing and setting up video, I,m in the editing process now. Im hoping to post nest week.
