I was notified by Comcast that my router was no longer supported and I wasn’t getting the best performance as a result. Naturally they want you to rent a gateway from them. Needless to say, that wasn’t going to happen. After much research, I settled on the CM700, and I don’t regret it for a second. Previous download speed hovered around 65 Mb/s. With the CM700, I’m seeing speeds around 119 Mb/s, and I couldn’t be happier.
