Decided to buy a separate modem from the router and went with this one. I am pleased. Everything works as designed and it communicates with my R7000P router seamlessly.

I recently installed this new modem with Nighthawk Internet and I have never been happier an upgrade to my home system was needed That is NETGEAR!

Once we figured out the cable setup in our new house (new to us), the modem is working great! Just as advertised!

Great modem, works excellent for 300Mbps internet line. Tried upgrading to 500 Mbps and Cox told me that this modem will only do 300 on their line. Let this serve as a warning to buyers that even though this is rated for 1.4Gbps Cox cannot put more than 300 Mbps through this modem.

Cable Modem CM700 – Smaller than my previous CM600 but seamless setup and excellent performance – just what is expected and delivered by NetGear.

This is faster and reaches further than my old Arris 6580 2 in 1 router/modem

I am not happy with CM700. I bought it in November 2019. Connection drops twice to three times every day. I have had enough. I have a small request to Netgear, will you please take my CM700 and give me CM600?

Simple to set up. No issues. Runs great. Would like if there was an app to login to review settings and configuration similar to Nighthawk App.

It’s compact, looks good and is working fine. The only (very tiny) issue I have is with the color of the data transfer LED. Why amber? It makes you think there’s something not right.

The CM700 worked immediately upon activation by Comcast. The speed test increased from 138.4 to 355.1 (Comcast) and 356 when Ookla speed test was used.

I just bought a xr 1000 router so I’ll just have to wait and see if the modem is enough

Fast internet, no lag, upload and download speeds are incredible! Im a big time gamer and there is absolutely no lag at all. Even while family,is in other rooms watching netflix, on their laptops, or even if they are gaming as well. Amazing and would totally recommend to anyone.

I really like the CM700 modem. It has been working great. The 32 downstream channels really make a difference when it comes to streaming to multiple 4K TVs. There are no buffering or stuttering problems while streaming. I would highly recommend this modem.

Very easy setup with Spectrum cable. Works fantastic so far (I’ve had it two weeks), zero issues, small profile, lightweight, lots of holes for air to get in for ventilation (I’ve had cable modems before that run hot). Plays nice with the Asus RT-AX55 router I bought.

Netgear is a great product. We have a Netgear Router and the modem was easy as pie to set up.

The unit was no plug and play on my xfinity system, i needed to have comcast register the product. And then a 2min reset was needed inorder for the unit to fully connect to the service. Overall this paired with nee access points is obtaining 180mb/s while i only pay for 150, and my Wi-Fi is testing at 120mb/s. Great speeds, when paired with running CAT6e to every room.
